TP2 + Ipod + Headphones

I have the Moto Rokr S9 headsets. I want to know how do I make it where I can listen to music on my ipod touch and make/receive calls on my TP2. I did it on accident twice and I can't seem to figure out how to do it "on purpose". Can someone tell me how to do it. No I don't have the audio side conneted to my TP2 I only have the phone functions enabled.
