Re: [Utility] Easily switch to roaming

Unfortunately I do not use the stock rom, so it's not that easy to troubleshoot this...

I've just updated the cab... please download it from the first post again, or from here.

If it is still crashing, can anyone post the entire text that shows up after it crashes? The screenshot is not showing everything. Thanks.

HKLM\SOFTWARE\OEM\PhoneSetting

Change the option HiddenModeOperationPage from 1 to 0

Then go to Phone/menu/option/service/and check in the list, "Mode of Operation" should be at the bottom. You have 3 choices, Hybrid, EVDO, and 1X.

Hope this helps...

Can you confirm this works on the Touch Pro 2? I checked this setting and it does not work as I found the same option set on my TP, that works. I found a few other threads that say this does not work on the TP2.

My bad digiblur, the registry edit does not work on the TP2. At this point, I'm not sure how to lock in on 1x only. If a solution pops up, I'll make sure to post.

Best to all,

Thanks for this. The one I use switches between automatic and roaming. I like how this lets me pick home only.

Using the stock rom here also and getting the same error. I have the reg changed so it can be forced to roam only so I don't know what the issue is. This would be great if it worked so I am going to type the whole error message for you in hopes it can be fixed.

Hey sorry I dont know anything about cabs, but is there any chance you could add an option to change the Mode of Operations (Hybrid EVDO or 1x) to this cab?

Thanks! =D> It works great, and is exactly what I needed - I get great service everywhere except at home, and the shortcut makes it SO much more convenient to change the settings.
