I confirmed there is a _setup.XML file in the cab.

Having said that, I found a bug in the registry settings.

I have updated it and posted a new versions: Ninja Duck No Opera Rotate 1.1.cab

It does for me. I am not sure if it is out of the box functionality, EnergyROM, or some zoom software I got over at XDA.

If it does not work, it used to be just a registry entry:

[HKLM\Software\HTC\SmartTouch\Opera Browser]
"FullPath"="\Program Files\Opera Mobile 10\Opera10-armv4i.exe"

how do i make it default browser? its not working? im using sprint stock 6.1 windows mobile.

I do not think the registry entries in the package will work on Windows Mobile 6.1.

if its just registry settings that control the rotation disable could you please post them, i cannot extract or convert your cab to an ext, im trying to make a package out of it so i can cook a rom with it baked in

You could just use the XML file directly in your package. It is a provisioning script and can be used directly with most kitchens.

I will tell you that simply not adding the entries in your ROM would cause rotation not to work. I am not editing, but rather removing entries.
