Facebook on the phone just sucks

Wirelessly posted (HTC Touch Pro 2: Opera/9.80 (Windows Mobile; WCE; Opera Mobi/WMD-50286; U; en) Presto/2.4.13 Version/10.00)

I used the Facebook browser, and it's not very good (as we all know), so then I tried the mobile site (m.facebook.com), and that is super basic, then I tried the Touch site (touch.facebook.com), and now it doesn't scale to fit the screen, the updates are always behind (newest ones are several days old - probably to do with the stupid live feed feature), viewing pics with comments doesn't work, viewing pics alone is tricky... So the I use the full facebook site (facebook.com), and that stupid bar at the bottom screws things up, the text boxes with are screwy when trying to type (combination of the existing text 'write a comment here', stupid on-screen keyboard popping up and down, opera trying to reposition the box to the top of the screen, the stupid bottom bar trys to stay on top of the on-screen keyboard)...

Is there any tolerable way to view facebook from the phone??

I have resorted to using SkyFire to go to Facebook. At least that way I know where everything is.

You do know that its a firefox broswer emulated on a server somewhere were all information is stored and collected right, they say they dont use it for anything but legal stuff but hey w/e, its in the ELUA, read it

And then violating privacy would mean the end of SkyFire, and jail sentences. Stop being paranoid of everything in the world!

as far as I know you tried all the different ways. Try using Skyfire to view the normal facebook page (www.facebook.com), it might be able to handle it better.
