cannot use internet browser!! pls help!

hello guys!!
sorry to ask stupid questions again
i have a sprint tp2 but im from canada using rogers. now i have unlocked it so i have no problem calling and texting and other stuff (sorry if the wrong terms are used im a noob to this)
but now when i try to use the internet browsers such as ie it tells me to enter 10 digit sprint number
im not a sprint user so what can i do?
also i am not familiar with the technologicial terms so please use simple english with me sorry!
