im there. i currently had it on network type: gsm

gsm/umts band: 1900/850

I walked around the house a bit and it dropped out. Won't reconnect. If I toggle flight mode off/on it reconnects.

More specifically,
After it drops me, in a few minutes it pops up again with the window for AT&T & T-Mobile wanting me to select one to register on the network.

i don't know....can you try t-mobile? i do know that you can purchase a t-mobile prepaid phone from wal-mart, the cheapest is $14.88.
