Opera Mobile 10 Beta

I don't know if I'm searching the wrong thing, but I can't find a way to do this. Is it possible to set Opera mobile 10 beta to be the default for touch flo 3d? It's default to my phone, so opening links usually opens in 10, but sometimes opening links from TF3d components or going to the internet tab and clicking launch browser opens the older 9.x browser. I'd like to remove the old browser and only use 10.

most of the links in manila are hard coded for opera 9. and making them open in 10 requires alot of manila file editing. are you on the stock rom? if not, im using a new sense 2.5 rom and upon installing opera 10 all the links open with it

How do you set Opera 10 to be set as the default browser for the phone. I currently have Skyfire set as my default browser but want to change that to Opera 10.

install opera 10 beta and it will give you the options at the end of the installation

At the time I did not select the option after I installed Opera 10 and would now like to set it as the default browser.

go to settings in opera 10, then advanced settings.. should do it....

I have been in advanced settings and there is no option to select Opera 10 as your default browser.

Did you try uninstalling it then reinstalling again to get the option at the end of install to set as default browser?

I had already thought of that but figured there was a setting some where on the device to chose which browser you want to set as your default.

Stock ROM...for now. Kitchen ROMs seem a lot more...involved to install than they did on my Mogul.

I tried following some instructions for editing manilla, but the files aren't where they said they were.

AFAIK the only way to set OM as default is during install.
