text messages from the future Y2KX issue - Page 4

Hello all, I am very new to doing anything with modifying my phone. I am an extreme beginner. I am having this same issue. I think I am having an additional one as well. I sent a text earlier yesterday around 7:30 p.m. or so and I the person I sent it to is still getting the message every hour or so. Also I am not getting text messages from anyone even though I am able to send out. Can anyone please help me.

I am using Mightyrom War and I have a Sprint phone.

Having the same problem, I just now found out. I am getting text late and people are getting text from me late also. People are also having trouble texting me.

Same here, looks like everybody with custoom ROMs is having the same issue, is anyone with stock carrier ROM having the same bug??????

I'm with Telus on MightyRom TP2 and it's not just text messages, all short dates are reporting 2016 - whoops! Long dates are correctly showing 2010 though. Well let's hope that this means that HTC will issue a fix which hopefully will contain all of the latest release tidbits so that our cooks can get their hands on the latest and greatest officially released stuffs.

So proud! Four pages in less than four hours! Plus I got to name the issue Y2KX! (Y2K plus roman numeral for 10 in case you are kinda slow)

Kinda funny! I suppose this will require a patch like when they changed when daylight savings time took effect.

Same problem w/ both EnergyRom and Stock rom (friend's phone). It's likely a network-side issue, maybe having to do with hexadecimal vs decimal timestamp coding by Sprint.

When this is resolved, this will wreak havoc with threaded and classic message sorting.
