Zenyee Disable HTC Messaging - SMS not being marked as read

Using the latest NRG rom.

Installed Zenyee's disable HTC messaging. Messages are working fine but on the SMS tab in 2.5 the bubble says 1 unread text message no matter what. If another message comes in it will say 2, clear one message when I read it but that 1 remain. Very annoying... sometimes it randomly goes away but it sticks around until I soft-reset but the problem comes back when I get another txt.

Any fix to this?
