Re: what is the max microsd card made and that tp2 can handle
SD and SDHC (and now SDXC) refer the capacity specification of the card. You can read all about it on the secure digital wiki page. Both the Touch Pro's support the SDHC spec.
Be careful going cheap with your memory cards, you usually get what you pay for. Not only do they tend to be more unreliable, they are usually slower. The one in your link is only a Class 2 (see the wiki). As slr916ek9 alluded to, they are often faked, especially the ones on E-bay. |

It's also hard to find class 6 16gb cards. A-data I believe is one of the few with Class 6 in the 16gb. I have had good success with Sandisk.

Re: what is the max microsd card made and that tp2 can handle
From my reading I've seen it said the hardware will support mapping 32GB cards, but HTC advertised as a 16GB max due to lack of 32GB cards for testing before release. 32GB card issues likely won't be officially supported by HTC. I'm wondering if there will be a need for updated drivers or the likes for the card reader to actually make use of them.

I've had good success with both Sandisk and A-data. Sandisk is usually very conservative with their specs, you may find a Class 2 Sandisk actually runs faster than a class 4 A-data

+1 on A-Data and also Transcend. Both manufacturers make good stuff that has consistently been flawless for me. I usually get 'em from Newegg.
Here's a Class 6, 16GB card for around $67, not bad. Fastest, highest capacity. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211379 And an 8GB Class 6 for a pretty unbeatable $18. Good compromise here on speed/capacity/price. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16820211342 8GB seems to be about the sweet spot. For the price I wouldn't settle for less than Class 6 speeds. |
