This might sound ridiculous but has anyone tried to watch a 3d movie on they're TP2? I saw advatar yesterday in 3d and it made me wonder.

Re: 3d movies

I wouldn't bother. There are enough hoops to jump through just to get regular video playback to run at a reasonable rate without tearing.

Re: 3d movies

Polarized 3D movies would work, but not movies like Avatar. Avatar is shown using dual projectors. So until they start making phones will dual displays on top of each other, it's not going to happen

Edit: Doh, wrong terminology

Re: 3d movies

Only way would be to rip a movie that's made for red and blue anaglyph glasses, like off a regular DVD. Polarized is not going to work, you need either a polarized screen or projection. But either way you're just not going to get enough stereo separation on such a small screen to be worth it. The smaller the screen, the less of a 3d effect you get.

Just think of all the pocket fuzz projected onto the wall...those phone ads with the projector on back are such bs. You'd need a completely dark room to see anything projected from such a tiny light source LOL.
