no matter how many times you wash your hands you still leave fingerprints.

I.e. Sprint Droid rumored to come out next year after VZW's exclusivity will have higher specs.. One possibly being it's cpu at 800Mhz.

We're not talking old versions here. We're talking about a phone that HTC announced like 9 months before any carriers announced they would carry it. And when HTC announced it, they also released the specs. And these specs are the exact same specs that the device ended up being.

HTC designed this device man, period.

T-Mobile G1?

I should have been more clear... I'd be happy to see a DECENT Android device with a keyboard from HTC. You know, something with current generation hardware and stylish looks. I wouldn't even take the G1 over an old Kaiser. Motorola has a couple decent Android devices with keyboards though, that are obviously aimed at consumers.

HTC seems top think consumers don't want a keyboard though. Their only current device with a keyboard (Touch Pro 2) is supposedly a "business device" which is why it lacks several features that consumers want.

The TP2 would be perfect if it gave up WM and moved to android... that's the only thing i hate about it.

What I hate is that it runs windows mobile.

Windows mobile can do more, but it really isent very intuititve. using the sbp software helps ALOT. but you have to do too much clicking to get to things.

after finally having senseUI 2.5 WITH full landscape (thanx Mighty) I LOOOOVE the TP2 in every way.

the only gripe i can think of is the reset hole issue a lot of users are mentioning. FM radio would be nice as well but nothing to hate it over

I am sorta bummed it doesn't have a flash. Also that the camera isn't 5mp. It's not perfect, but it's nowhere nearly as buggy as the TP1. I also dislike, as Mike and others have noted, the FM radio being locked down. But that's not HTC, that's our carriers. Only thing I really hate is that it doesn't have enough ROM or RAM, at least for me. Other than that, solid phone.
