yeah I did a fresh format right before I started this whole fiasco.

I'm in the process of tracking down another USB cable...fingers crossed.

can't be the usb cable. if you are trying to flash from your Storage card, once your nbh is moved over, you don't even need your phone hooked up anymore. so screw the cord after you get that file on there and renamed.

Did you try a hard reset yet? I'd give that a shot. But I'm kinda noob, so it might not work. Just a thought.

Well the problem so far is that the phone won't even turn on without the cord plugged in. Maybe when the rom flash failed it lost the ability to recognize the battery?? Thats the only thing I can think of. I'm sure theres some kind of driver for the power/battery management...maybe its been screwed up somehow?

insomniac, thanks for the reply. Unfortunately the phone wont even perform a hard reset. I'm just thinking when that rom update flubbed i messed up the hardware drivers or something...the phone just isnt operating normally at all.

dude i'm sorry. that works for every person. if your phone every has a bad flash, if it will connect USB, you can always flash back to stock. I hope it works out....thanks for what you do for our country!

Do me a favor, can you place the phone in bootloader with nothing hooked up and tell me what it does?

From power off - hold down power +vol down and wait till it loads the tri-color screen...

Don't have a memory card in the phone, don't have it hooked up to anything...

just let it sit there and tell me what happens
