I haven't really used my phone as a music player much, but I do have music on it and I've played around with it a little.

When I have played with it, it seemed to work flawlessly for me. I don't have any play lists made though so maybe that's where your problem is coming from.

Flashed back to VZW stock rom. HTC media player is flawless...play lists and all.

I'm shocked that no one considers ALL custom roms inability to do this seriously.

I can see why the Iphone is popular but I will hold out until a ROM guru addresses this.

Can't someone take the HTC stock player & infuse it into 2.1 or 2.5?????

I noticed that too.

When I was running the stock Verizon ROM, the HTC media player worked perfectly (& it is the best music app hands down when it works right)

Now that I run a ROM with manila 2.5 neither CorePlayer or the HTC app work 100% right (The HTC app can't handle large playlists & CorePlayer is broken using video out)

just to wrap this up...Verizon 6.5 rom sense 2.1 music player works like a freaking charm. Guess the ROM moguls don't listen/care about music. Oh well.
