Random texting problem

So, I have searched and found a few problems like this, but no answers. I have a Touch Pro 2. The problem I have is that my phone will take old sent messages and resend them to the same contact who originally received the message. Sprint has hard reset my phone, and the problem does not stop. I have deleted my inbox and deleted items, and the problem continues. I am now on my 3rd Touch Pro 2, thanks to Sprint replacing it. My Dad and brother have the same phone with no issues, and I can't figure out why my phone does this (neither can the Sprint store). Any help?

I have had this problem dating back to my Touch then TP1 and now TP2. But its not as bad as it was on my Touch. It happens whenever you go into a bad signal area or softreset. It use to drive me crazy with my Touch. I think its more a Sprint issue then the phone, but I could be wrong and it is HTC.

Well, that helps to at least get a potential answer to why it's happening. I've been in good service areas when it has happened too, but truth be told, my bedroom is in a basement. I'm just surprised my TP1 didn't have the issue, or my brother, whom I share a room with.

Every has had good answers. This happens alot of time when you send in a bad area as has been mentioned. We had this happen on an old TP one time, and a hard reset was the only fix. It appears you've already tried this, and it just sounds like your texts that are being sent are caught in your queue somehow.

i have this problem also. i end up clearing all my messages and this seems to fix it. its probably the bad service area i would count on it because i have horrible service and it happens all the time at home.

I tried the clearing all texts solution last night. I even cleared my deleted messages. It still resent them. It will do this at any given place and time, so I would have to have bad coverage in different places. All of my texts send promptly, so I'm not sure what to think now.

yes, to no prevail. The local store has given up. I called Sprint Advanced Support, they called back 5 hours late, so I will call them tomorrow and see what they have to say.
