It happens to me when I send a long text that's broken up into like 3 parts. They will get like 1 of em and then hours or even a day later they will get the rest and be like what the hell. Has gotten me in a hairy situation more than once.

Ive had this happen to me after restoring a bad PIM back up. It would send the same 2 old messages to whomever i've sent it to already. It did this to 3 of my contacts.

Did you say even if you don't restore your messages it will still do it?

Yeah, i dont restore the texts, only contacts. Sprint called me back. They think my phone has problems connecting to the network. Solution? keep it out of my pocket for the day, and let them know if it still has issues. also, i have to take the battery out of the phone at every new place i go.

no i hever restored txts but ive txted ppl while sleeping. it was weird. idk what happened.

Ive had this same problem. I haven't figured it out completely but its possible it sends messages that either reported as not able to send (even though they do send), or if they are stored in the drafts. And I've noticed it likes to send them out when I restart the phone.

Yikes, I have written checks my butt couldn't cash thanks to sleep-texting. :---)

Just to verify, you guys HAVE checked your outboxes, right? I've had this happen- one message kept getting sent over & over for 2 days & I was about to tear my hair out. Before I hard reset I checked my outbox, and there it was. Sometimes texts that fail to send the first time get stuck in an evil little loop in the outbox like that.

do you literally mean "written checks my butt couldnt cash" or saying that as a saying like ive said this to soembody and i coudlnt get out of it? idk how to write checks via txt lol and i will check my outbox from now on. i dont have this problem as bad as you guys though, but if i do i know what to do
