Sorry, but i'm a n00b with tethering...

First off, I have a HTC Touch Pro 2 and my carrier, my carrier is Verizon, and I have the cheaper data package that doesn't include tethering. I have REALLY wanted to try tethering with my phone, but wanted to wait till after the first month to mess with it. I've heard of stealth tethering, but I've also heard it has been counters, but then there have been fixes, but i've only seen them for MightyRom. I however have JuicyRom, i got it here (love it):

I'd like to know whether the stealth tethering comes standard on that rom, and if it doesn't, how do I get it? Also what's the best way to go about doing it (limits and such) and how can i tell (preferably earlier than my bill) that i'm failing at the whole "stealth" part?
