Using Windows Mobile Device Center; 1. Click on "Connect without setting up your device" when you first connect your phone. 2. Hover over "File Management" on the next screen, the click "Browse the contents of your device". 3. You now should have a display of the disc drives of your TP2. Before going further, look to the upper left for the drop down labled "Organize" with a chevron to the immediate right. Click on Oranganize and select "Folder and search options". This brings you to Folder Options, click on the tab labeled "View" and look to the listings under "Advanced Settings". What you need to do is click on the radio button labled "Show hidden files, folders, or drives" under "Hidden files and folders" header AND click the arrow OFF of "Hide protected operating system files (Recommended)"...NOTE: Windows 7 will squawk when you do this but just click "Yes". 4. Now will be able to see the Windows folder on your TP2!:laughing6: |
Re: Notification Won't Go Away
Thank you very much for your help up through now! So all I need to do is drop that file into the /Windows folder and unplug my phone and it'll be good, right?

Re: Notification Won't Go Away
I, for some reason, have a larger version of the .dll file in the /Windows folder already. It also says I cannot delete it. Is it alright to move the smaller, real .dll file to the folder and leave the other one, or is there some way to delete the larger version?
