actice sync error 80883001

I am getting an error when I sync my TP2. I keeps alot of pdf files on my phone, and I dont know if that has anything to do with it or not. When I sync it comes up and says: There has been a change on your server that requires you to re-sync all items on your device. Support code :80883001. the phone than pops up a screen that says all changes since last sync will be lost. and when I sync thay are gone, along with the ring tones for even old contacts.

Any clues?

Are you using gmail or another exchange provider?

Try uninstalling Activesync and install again see if that fixes the problem.

Reloaded it twice same problem, says file needs to be resolved. then gives me the error and wants to wipe everything out.

OK Im tried on another pc, seemed ok but gave errors about first pc. So Im gonna reload my PC, needs reloading anyway! What do I need to back up in outlook to save all my emails, calendar, task and contacts?

OK I got a refurb TP1 and deleted activesync. Reinstalled usinf new TP1 and same problem. WTF? Im not sure what to do now.

ok I got a redurb tp1- deleted activesync installed from web - synced fine twice then same error. WTF ? ? ? ?
