I hope so.
I doubt it. That has never worked great from day one and I don't think it ever will. I used it for years and it was such a mess.

I finally switched to Exchange and it's soooooo much better.

I can sync faster over the air than I ever could with ActiveSync crap over USB.

And it has never duplicated, or got an error etc., ever in the last couple years I've been running it.

I believe there are free services that do the same thing as Exchange now (like Microsoft My Phone).

What's even cooler is I could hard reset on the road (or even upgrade a ROM) with just the phone and get all synced up again. Without backing up or anything. Just Sync OTA and I'll be back up in 5-10 minutes.

Although I agree with your preferred method of backing up (MyPhone is good stuff), I guess you didn't see my answer right below his question about how you CAN sync with 2 PC's already in 6.x?

Change that to 1 to enable. Then soft reset.

After that you want to hook up to each PC and set up your Sync from the DEVICE - NOT from the Windows Mobile Device Center or from ActiveSync on the PC. Again, when setting up the partnership you need to go through the setup on the phone when you plug it into the PC.

There is one exception to this. You cannot do Push Mail for both mailboxes if they are Exchange mailboxes. You can set up your work PC first and enable Push Mail for that mailbox. Then set up the partnership to your home PC and add your home Hotmail account separately - which does allow individual Push mail when done through the device. It sucks that Microsoft forces you to only use their services to make it work, but it does work.

Once you've done all of this you are able to sync up your Tasks/Calendar/Contacts/etc with both machines and can even use Push Mail with Exchange at work and Push Mail with Hotmail at home.

YES !!! This worked. Why Oh WHY is such an easy solution so difficult to find ?

And Why the Heck is it not included with the base ROM.
POst this as a sticky. I know I started a thread on this and no one had an answer.

Re: release date for Sprint 6.5 stock rom?????

OP, are you anticipating something within the stock Sprint ROM which isnt ALREADY available here in the form of custom ROMs?

only in the aspect that they are 6.5 or 6.5.1 and offer a bit better response , speed , and smoothness when using Mobile Shell 3.5.2 which I run on my TP2 due to the highly customizable screens .Also I usually do not have to reflash every few weeks for new bug fixes on the stock roms. I get tired of reading thru 8000 posts in a thread sometimes checking out all the tweaks, etc..LOL

. I use Mobile Shell 3.5.2 by preference and it plays nicest with stock rom, but it plays faster with 6.5 .. thus waiting for the update . No other reason. I have used it on other roms and it just works best with stock , it has nothing to do really with the ROMS themselves other than their interaction with MS 3.5.2

Aren't roms made by taking the latest WM shell and then applying drivers that are from the original shipping roms? Since no CDMA carrier to my knowledge has released a wm6.5 rom yet the drivers in all these kitchens are still from wm6.1 I assume. After the official release of 6.5 the drivers in all of the kitchens will be updated and hopefully response speed increases. Then it may be time to jump on the TP2 bandwagon. Especially after seeing the crappy selection for CDMA phones in early/mid 2010.

The US Cellular CDMA official ROM is out and most, if not all by now, of the cooked ROMS were updated using those drivers a few weeks back.
