Re: Anyone Using Seven for Push Email?
I use exchange activesync for my gmail account, but SEVEN is the only thing that actually lets me download my yahoo and hotmail accounts onto my phone.
There was that pesky international text messages problem, but I called Sprint once to complain about these $.20 charges and I told them that I do not know *anyone* outside of the USA that I would be sending an SMS to.. They removed the charges, and also helpfully blocked the messages too! Now when I flash a new ROM and install SEVEN and set up my email accounts, the messages bounce back with an SMS from sprint saying "9230 Message sent with an invalid number of digits. Please resend using 10 digit number or valid short code. Msg 2114". SEVEN eventually times out waiting for a response and then continues to install and sync up with my accounts, though. SCORE +1 SPRINT! |

Error S7123: A server operation caused an error. If the problem persists contact suppot. I am using a custom rom (NagROM v1.03) so I'm not sure if it is related to that. I may try flashing the stock rom and see if that works. I know from searching that not may people use this, but the benefit of SMS triggered push email makes this a very appealing option. Also Google Sync has issues with some emails that I receive from my bank that other methods (including this one) do not. I just wanted to see if anyone has had similar experiences or suggestions... |
