another confused noob

i just got the tp2 from verizon and while bragging about it my friend that has tp1 said he pretty much had all the same shit just on a smaller screen. that sucked. well that brought me here cuz i want my phone to be bad assed.

i've been reading this forum for about a day now and there's just so many roms and so many tweeks.

i really just want anything awesome HD, all the picture options, and WM 6.5. i think that's a good start.

with that being said, i don't know what the best rom and by who to update to 6.5 and how to do just the picture and hd. can anyone point me to the best and quickest path to achieve my goal?

Mightymikes would be a good place to start, for the most part it is pretty dummy proof.

i saw that one... does it matter which one i install for verizon?

does it also add all of the picture stuff?
