No, a SIM chip for Boost Mobile will not work. Boost also has CDMA service now with a new lineup of phones to include the Sanyo SCP-3810(Mirro), SCP-6760(Incognito) and even a Blackberry 8330(1st Gen Curve) model.

So it wouldn't be hard to think that a Sprint TP2 or whatever type of Sprint branded handset would be able to be used on the Boost CDMA network(powered by Sprint).

Re: No MMS on Boost Mobile!

Is there a thread where it explains how to get my sprint touch pro 2 to work on boost cdma network? I can't find it.

Re: No MMS on Boost Mobile!

hello everyone. I can confirm that depending on what Rom you are using you may need different Arcsoft versions; when I was using the stock version (MMS_Sprint_5_0_94_128c_10M) on my sprint tp2, all I had to do was edit the server to mm.myboostmobile.com and I was able to send and receive , but since then I flashed the phone with the MightyRom and that version of Arcsoft no longer worked so I went ahead an uninstalled that one and installed Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79 and changed the server and it's working again send and receive.

Re: No MMS on Boost Mobile!

From Hofo (http://www.howardforums.com/showthre...3&page=7&pp=15)

If anyone else is having trouble with mms on their touch pro here is where you can find the solution
First use the Remove PictureMail & Arcsoft.cab , do a soft reset and install Sprint Arcsoft MMS 5.0.82.79.cab , this is found here :http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=61802
Then set your Server Address to http://mm.myboostmobile.com , if that doesn't work try http://pcs-boost-mmsc-submit.sun3.lightsurf.net . This is found here http://forum.ppcgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=76245&page=

now everything works on my touch pro , but my touch vogue takes me to some link http://mediamail.boostmobile.com***** broken link when receiving mms and fails when sending , so I have to loging to that website everytime I want to check the mms.
and also this is where you loging to get your boost media password
https://mediamail.boostmobile.com/login.do

I just saw your post. I am gonna try this when I get home. The only thing is are you sure that is the correct server address. I have also seen the following:

One person says : http://mm.myboostmobile.com

Another has used:https://boostmms.nexteldata.net:8088/mms
