Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 on Sprint Network

Hi I just recently flashed my Pro 2 to Sprint and it works great. However, I do have one issue and that is the internet. When it tries to contact Sprint for programming it comes back in error 1012. Is there something I am missing as Sprint says it is a phone issue and of course I can't take it to them for them to look at it Like I said, everything else works fine just no data. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 on Sprint Network

I didn't know that you could use non- sprint phones on the Sprint's CDMA network. How did you do that, that is my first question. I thought that Sprint was the last of the Big 3 networks (Altel, Bellsouth, Sprint) who would not allow other phones on their network.

2nd, You might want to try grabbing someone's provisioning cab, or you might need to run a PRL update (from another cab floating around here).

Yeah, there is a tut on here as well. I used Oli's tut and flashed a custom rom also. I'll try to find a provisioning cab and see if that helps. Thanks!

Re: Verizon HTC Touch Pro 2 on Sprint Network

I would also like to know how you got a Verizon phone actvated on Sprint. I did not know this was possible. If I can start buying Verizon phones and activating on Sprint it would be awesome.
