why can't htc just leave WM6.1/6.5 alone?
 

It just pisses me off the updates are there but they feel the need to F around with them. leave the winmo alone and just create a app if they want to install like mobile shell 3.5

we shouldn't have to wait for them to just F it up like they did with the bluetooth stack for starters.

even Android users are getting upgrades while we wait till F'n hell freezes.

I feel ya man but cursing at them on this forum is not going to get them to change , F it I hate them too for not pushing the hd touch 2 to verizon but what I do is buy there competitors products and let them know how happy I am with the other companies device over theirs..

My neighbor loves the F word so I have to say firetruck on his behalf .. LOL

htc could care less about the north american market....as long as asia and europe are happy thats all that matters

This seems to be for all companies this day and time , Even American companies like ford build cars for other regions that we are not allowed have here , HTC is just one of many companies who look at money not the actual buyer..

I would buy 2 from verizon , have wanted the hd2 since i heard about it from Engadget.
Tempted to buy a Unlocked hd2 and hack it to work the verizon network..if not going to use it on the at&t network..LOL

Using a GSM phone on CDMA is virtually impossible.

But in all honesty, its not HTC delaying the update. It's the carriers whom have to go in and modify it and add their exclusive stuff, TV, Navi, etc.

What I don't get is why everyone is so up in arms about 6.5? What's the difference? A tiered Start menu, and if you don't use TF3D you get the Titanium menu? Oh joy!

What's the big deal, just flash a custom ROM if you want 6.5 that bad??

I stopped caring about the official update 30 seconds after the unlocker came out.......
