To to the OP, if you want to blame anyone blame your carrier. HTC has the wm6.5 for TP2 ready to go (for a while now), as evidenced by it being on the USC, AT&T, and international TP2s. U.S. carriers are notorious for holding back updates or crippling them *cough* (Verizon).

There are too many rules and regulations in America, especially with technology. That is why we are always far behind compared to europe and asia, japan, etc. Here, companies have to take twice as long to do anything so they can make sure what they Do do, they don't get sued for by some other company. Or have the govenment step in and say they can't do that, etc.

True, but if that was the case why do the AT&T and USC TP2s have winmo6.5 already? I think Sprint, Verizon, and T-Mobile are just taking their sweet time.

i would like to have mobile shell 3.5 work well on the tp2.
i think the issues are with SPB rather than with HTC...no?
in all fairness to both companies,,i had mobile shell 3.5 on my htc touch (aka..vogue 6900..)and it worked flawlessly..i really enjoyed mobile shell + profiles on that phone...so much that i am considering going back to my old htc touch
