Verizon windows mobile 6.5 update, i just talked to a verizon rep.!!!!!

I just called verizon and a the guy on the phone told me that they are trying to release the updat before sprint and it will be out later this month or early next month

first you ask about the "new" vzw tp2 and now this? slow down bro. the rep said a month but didnt say what year, sprints the same way, anything to get you off the phone.

If 6.5 is anything like the Imagio then I would use the hard spl and try a 6.5 rom today. 6.1 stock is excellent on this phone and 6.5 on the Imagio felt like crap. Start off with mightyrom and you will not want to touch a virgin 6.5.

the only reason im excited about the upgrade is because it will make all the custom roms better

I don't know how it would make custom ROMs better. USC Touch Pro 2 WM 6.5 ROM dump has already been incorporated into most of the custom ROMs. I believe it has same hardware as CDMA TP2s that other carriers have.

Drivers that have been further updated, new OEMs that are WM6.5 compatible or just updated in general, or a newer build of 6.5 than USC is using.
