I am actually almost completely satisfied with my TP2. I'd only make a few changes.

Bigger screen
Tiny D-pad
Scroll wheel a-la Mogul
ENABLED FM radio
TV tuner

No one is going to adopt a technology knowing that its successor is right around the corner. In this game... its who can be the fastest to the newest. When nVidia started getting hits on the Tegra, they ha already begun development of Tegra 2.

Soon enough, the market will be flooded with Tegra devices, but all 2nd gen hardware.

The Snapdragon is actually based on the Cortex A8 but with a few improvements. So a lower clocked A8 would definitely be slower than a Snapdragon.

I have seen too many threads with people asking what would you do to improve upon the TP2. Thats not the question id be asking, because imo, there are very few things to improve upon. They built a device, with almost identical hardware specs to the tp2 as far as processing power goes, and its faster and more capable, by imo, quite a bit. the screen is bigger, and beautiful might i add. The sole thing that i dislike, and would love to have seen, is the flash, because i used the hell out of htorch. The fm tuner being enabled would be nice, but the hardware IS there which IS an improvement from the TP, so it just needs to be unlocked. Other than that, what can be improved upon without completely redesigning the device. IMO asking what can be improved upon with the tp2 is like asking someone with a 2 year old computer what could be improved upon. the fact is, nothing can be improved upon, it is as good as it can be with its hardware. I say props to HTC for making this device so stable and efficient. They could have thrown more processor and ram at it and left it inefficient like the touch pro was and called it good, but they didnt.

In order of importance (to me):

- more ram
- digital tv tuner
- am/fm radio
- 5mp cam or better, with flash
- flash support, java applets for browser
- small trackball between zoom bar and bottom buttons; change the "windows" and "back" buttons to left/right mouse clicks.
- slightly better battery
- slightly bigger screen, capacitive
- soft reset button access without removing case
- better processor
- update HTC's task manager (quick menu); default setting = ON
- TV out directly through the 3.5mm plug (without the adapter)
- stylus with pen

However, this phone is already 1000% better than the original TP - I am pleasantly surprised so far. The above items are a wish list, not complaints.
