just got the touch pro 2 and well im lost ive been a blackberry guy for years!
do i need to unlock the phone for the 6.5 os upgrade?
if so how do you do that?
any help would be much appreciated thanx

like santod posted follow those guides, they will get you started.
and yes an upgrade from stock is imo better, improved battery life,
better memory usage. plus you can give it a more personalized look.
just read,read and read then search, search, and search.
most of all have fun with it.

OP is on Tmobile according to his profile, telling him to install CDMA ROM's will brick his phone considering it's GSM.

yea i caught that with the whole cdma thing but i still cant find a true link for the os
