HTC Sense 2.1-2.5 Weather Animations?

my friend has the US Cellular version of the Touch Pro 2, and i've seen youtube videos that their versions stock rom is capable of displaying he weather animations on the home screen. they have sense 2.1 right?

how do you get these animations to show on the home screen? i couldnt get his to show up on the home screen is there something special u have to do? or certain wallpaper that allows this to happen

is that the only way the weather animations will display is with the home screen wallpaper on the default picture? what do u have have to do after wards? i know he manually set his weather to chicago do u have to use the gps weather?

You can make WP with HDwalls that works with the animated weather. That is what I did here:

i have not been smart enough to find the proper hdwall settings for mighty rom.i used to use it on the stock rom.

Wouldn't weather animations take up cpu resources?

or is it not enough to be concerned over?

I am trying to figure this out too. I want the weather animations to work no matter what wallpaper I have selected but the only way I can get the animation to work is by selecting the "default" wall paper.

Any ideas?
