To unlock, or not???
I'm new to all this stuff, but I am thinking about using some other rom. I was told I need to unlock my TP2 (it's cdma with Telus,) to use or "flash" a new rom to it.
I thought I only needed to unlock a phone to use a differant carrier, but I could be wrong. any help would, well, help. . .

Yes, you need to download the hardSPL unlocker from the CDMA Upgrade forum before flashing and follow the instructions. Download the rom of your choice, extract and follow instruction for running the Rom Update Utility. Goodluck
