I am using the latest Mighty Rom and I can confirm that your patch cab installs and seems to be working fine.

I have an issue with Voice Command that maybe you or someone can help with.

There used to be a way to get into the VC settings and turn off the option where it asks you to confirm before making a call. I can't seem to get there (if it's even still there). This is an issue for me and my bluetooth stereo.
Before I was able to disable that option, say Call "Ray Daley Home" and it would place the call.
My car unit has never played the voices through the speaker so it makes it next to impossible to use VC from my car.

The options thing is in Settings -> Personal but it won't show up until you soft reset after installing.
But if you are installing on top of a Cookin VoiceCommand the Chef may have moved it and installing on top may not change it's location.

It sure does get confusing where everything is on all these ROMs. I like how Energy organizes stuff.

That's where it has always been before, since installing the patch it seems to have dissapeared.

I am backing things up and I am going to uninstall the patch and see if it comes back.

The problem is, even when it was there, there was no option to turn off the prompts like there has been in previous versions.

did you soft reset?

Re: VoiceCommand PATCHED to 1.6.28002 (Cab Inside)

I did, but no Voice Command settings.

After un-installing, it broke Voice Command. Now I get an error message that there was a problem launching voicecmd.exe, please re-install the program and try again.
The ironic part is that uninstalling the patch put back the Voice Command Setting icon.

Re-installing the patch fixed Voice Command but again... Lost the Settings Icon.

If you voice command control panel is not appearing under personal, download the cpl I modified and overwrite in it the windows root with resco or total commander. Then soft reset with software soft reset like psshut xp. It will now show up.

Great work. I'll make another cab today.
Did it fix lag and hang up issues?

The lag hangup issues have to do with the phone canvas and not voice command. If you do not have the option to upgrade to the newer phone canvas (Phone - PhoneCanvas 3.40.1920.1930) and you are not using push email, you can use hd tweak and set the internet settings to turn off after five minutes, soft reset, and this will fix the hangup lag.

After re-reading your thread I figured that might be the case.
I did copy your modified file to the windows folder and it restored the the control panel applet.

But...
Not your problem, this hasn't been an available option since I got my TP2, there is still no option to dissable the confirmation prompts.

Oh well, this version does work much better than the original. At least I can answer calls in my truck, that's the important thing for me.

Thank you,

Yeah but putting this Voice Command on works. But I noticed it sometimes takes more than one click. I'm using what ever PhoneCanvas Engery 28008 Leo ROM defaults to. I don't use push mail.

I have a cleaner Cab comming with all VoiceCommand files from 28008 ROM.
I got them all cleanly extracted from the Kitchen.
I'll also create one with the patched CPL for 6.1 (I'll also check the 6.1 Kitchen).

OK, so I admit it...
I can be an airhead at times!

I just found the settings I was looking for.

When you go to Settings, Personal, Voice Command
I didn't realize that you need to hi-light "Phone" then click options to get the settings I have been looking for.

All is good now!

Thanks again for all the help.
