Trying to connect to my ISP through cell line
Hi, Is there a way to change modem settings in an Alltel PPC6800 phone?
I tried setting up my ISP service by calling a 9 digit number and i'm getting an error that it can't connect for an unknown reason.....is there a way to change modem setting to allow it to connect... i know it worked perfect with a palm treo 700wx and i figure it's just a minor setting somewhere....please let me know....thanks.

You bought a Mogul and didn't get a Power Vision plan?
AHAHAHAHAHAHA Sorry....that was mean. You REALLY need to get the unlimited Power Vision data plan. It's only $15 a month.

no...i use Alltel...BTW??? am i in the wrong forum? ur all assuming i have sprint...and i don't have data plan on alltel it just uses up minutes...

Oh...whoops....your on Allhell....I mean Alltel.
You need a data plan for the Mogul....otherwise it's a pretty useless phone.

Like i said alltel has 1x data in our area and it uses up only minutes, doesn't charge for the amount of data used...but still like i said it doesn't connect the way it should, it's getting the username and password is wrong error after loading a few pages,
