email keeps getting erased
I have pop gmail on my phone, every time it re-checks for email it deletes the previous messages, even if i have not read it.
I know this topic has already been discussed in the past. I have searched this forum as well as pdaphonehome and cant find any info out. thx in advance. james |
Well one solution, if you have a home computer that downloads your GMAIL into like Exchange you have to set the home computer to keep email on the server, otherwise it downloads it off the server and your Mogul can't access it.... Other than that never had it happen to me.

add recent: to your username ... that should fix it |
and make sure you select "keep emails in inbox after downloaded by POP" in the gmail settings on the computer

hmmm
I have my phone wirelessly get my messages from gmail.
The messages are downloaded to my phone every 2 hours. The messages on gmails server are not erased, i have selected the option to keep them on the server. The messages on my phone show up fine. But if i read them or not on my phone, they are deleted off my phone the next time my phone automatically looks for new messages 2 hours later. I know many of you have delt with this in the past. I had the same problem with my 6600 and my 6700. bueller, buller, buller? |

u guys doing all of this through activesync ? if so do this, click on activsync via ppc, click menu, configure server, next, next, highlight email, and click settings, then download the past should be "all". i believe this is what you gotta do in order to keep your emails. if i think of the other option i will fill you guys in.
