that was my point... but the BASIC WORKING DESIGN of the holster is just like the seidio one, minus the likely better build quality of the seidio one...

No spring on the clip... just flexible plastic like my old Moto v60i clip. I wouldn't trust my 6800 to anything less than the Seidio myself... I can afford 20 extra bucks for a clip that won't break.

Incidentally, I contacted Seidio last week regarding a car kit and they got back to me with the news that they expect to have them available soon. Woo hoo! I loved the car kit I had for my 6700.

I think the best holster is the original mogul holster that comes in the box

Hey, that's cool if you're into it.
Some people like the iphone. You're welcome to your opinion.

Most of us find the stock case (not really a holster) akward to slip in and out of. You need to open the flap first and life the phone out at an angle, then grab with another finger and lift out. Its not easy to make this a fluid movement, whereas a real holster allows you to press on a clip and release the phone, and then snap it back in place when done.
When I think of the word "holster" I imagine a gun holster... the way the firearm is easily removed and ready when needed, and put back when done. Imagine how many cops would get shot first if they had to fumble with getting the clip off their gun and needed two hands.
True that I'm comparing my cellular phone with someone risking their life, but the point is still there. The stock case is a merely a case with a belt loop. I wouldn't call it a clip or holster, though.
