NO, on the new rom the Alarm feature works as advertised. The old rom 2.09 the alarm would not function if you were charging the unit.

Dude, it does work. I was practically on my way out the door to return my mogul when the last update came out. No alarm on a $300 + phone is just plain out of control and i couldn't have lived with out it.

well, i got my mogul on friday, updated to the latest firmware, and my alarm did not go off this morning

Dont know what to tell you then. Mine did not work with the 2.09 rom but with the 2.17 rom, it works as advertised. Are you sure you set it up properly?
Did you highlight the days you wanted the alarm to go off? Is it checked, and did you name the alarm time to something other than <blank>?


If its all set up properly then take it back and get another mogul then. This is the only advise i can give you.
