Well my alarm went off fine this morning so no worries on my end :)

Thant makes no sense.... the OS can freeze break or messup the same way a third party app can, and not only that... its known to do it, hahahahha...
Iv used phone alarm for 3.5 weeks now and its woken me up every day... where the phones alarm hasn't worked once...

then phone alarm will work if you don't allow the phone to go in to sleep mode, if you wake it up and plug in the pwr cord and leave it, the alarm will work due to it not going in to sleep mode, unless you change the stock setting on that.

notice when you hit power to wake the phone from sleep mode the time shows the time when it went to sleep for a split second? this is why most of use have this issue, as the system time wont update until it resumes from sleep due to a firmware bug. i have had luck with the ilock.exe trick and my alarm works well on my mogul now, search the forums for more info...

Yep - same problem here. Its sorta sad a $550 phone can't be used as a reliable alarm clock. If anyone finds an answer, I'm sure most of us would love to hear.

well, i am happy and sad to see that i am not the only one with this problem with the phone. i guess i will try some of the suggestions mentioned here. possibly downloading an alarm app. thanks for the help.

I got SPB time (latest build) in response to this comment. I have it installed and have the "Wake up tweak" enabled. It still FAILS to sound the alarm when it is in standby (screen off) and charging on my night stand. I dont know what other variables could be involved. I dont have any other alarm software installed.

It's really sad to have a phone of this level have issues with basic functionality like alarm and BT.

I just installed SPB Time, I guess I will have to see what problems I have with it.

Thats odd, cause i honestly use it for my alarm EVERY day...
