You can try to go through the process of getting them to add it to there database but it is hit or miss on getting it to work. This is not like a gsm phone and doing a unlock and adding a sim card works. CDMA does not work easy at all to add other providers phones.
Well, again.. I wasn't sure therefore I asked... The model number inside the phone isn't labeled as just a "ppc6800" which i believe is sprints model number... it also says "XV6800" which again i believe is verizons model number.. I'm no dummy, and am pretty tech savvy.. BUT i have never tried to unlock or flash a phone and it's been awhile since i've used a WM device...

Doesn't hurt to try! I still would like some info on how to set it up so that IF I can get them to add the phone, it will work on their network.. (i do know quite a few people who work for verizon so.. )

So anyone who can point me in the right direction will be greatly appreciated!!!

THANKS AGAIN!
