screen on alone

ok I have a mogul that I use to watch lots of videos ans tv in the dark. but is there a wa to keep just the screen on? the blinking led's and button backlights relly annoy me in dark rooms. I tried to set the dimmer to the darkest but the led's still blink now and then.
