Strange problem: Only part of contacts synchronized

My plan was to move the contacts from my old Samsung t809 to Mogul.
I first copied the contacts to Outlook on a laptop,
then I used ActiveSync to copy the contacts from the laptop outlook to the phone.
To my surprise, only some of the entire contacts were synchronized.

Had anyone met the same bug before???

I did set up some new categories in my old contact list... such as, my "work" category got only one contact entered into Mogul contact list, while "personal" had half in, and "services" had none copied... Poor~ I was trying to complete the mission since last night...
