Bluetooth bug...?

I am not sure that this is a bug or a problem or maybe just something i might have done while messing around with my phone, but it seems when i have my motorola 850 headset connected and don't use it for awhile my phone seems to freeze up and a reset is necessary to wake it back up. Has anyone else noticed this?
