Email Sych Options Message Format

WM6 talks about being able to read email in HTML format now. I have direct push from my exchange server. When I set email to synch with the exchange wirelessly, plain text is the only format i can choose, the other is grayed out. When I set it not to synch wireless and get mail from active synch, i can choose html format. How can I make it read html even when i use direct push?
