1) start->settings->connections 2)Click on connections 3)Manage existing connections 4)edit the Alltel connection 5)Rename the connection from Alltel to Sprint PCS. You're still dialing #777 (w/ no user name or pw, which is the same way Sprint uses to get onto their EVDO network). |

one thing I did notice with the alltel ROM update to the mogul. It enables MMS but when you look under the server option it displays Alltel MMSC. Is this ok or do I need to change it to a sprint server??

does it only enable the sending of mms? (as we will most likey still get the mms texts)... Are the server settings editable to work with sprint? if so, i would totaly switch roms, because that sprint mms app from arcsoft is soooooooo slow...

Which Alltel users? I've never had a problem with Bluetooth. I have Regular & Stereo Bluetooth headsets, BT GPS, and BT Activesync to Desktop and Laptop connections that are flawless. Never had someone say I was far away, breaking up, cutting out. And I only have the cheap $20 Bestbuy special BT headset, not a fancy Jawbone or anything. All the Alltel users I've spoken with haven't had problems with bluetooth, and a few sprint users that have had their 6800 ROM updated have said it did help their BT.

No BT problems here either. I only had WM5 on my 6800 for about 24 hours so no real test there... but been running WM6 on it for about 2 weeks and BT seems to be working fine with both my Jabra BT350 headset and Holux GPSlim 236 GPS unit.
