Web Shortcuts and Adding Rows in HTC Home

I pretty much scoured this forum and a couple other ones but couldn't find the answer to these two questions:

1. Has anyone figured out a way to have web shortcuts display using HTC Home? We can do this for applications, why not links to websites? I was able to do this on my 6700 using SPB Plus but I like the look of HTC Home.

2. Is there a way to get more rows instead of just two for the applications tab?
