Stumbled across this dialer...VERY practical

I was looking at different themes and I ran across this one in the dialer that I have not seen before (excuse me if I'm late). This particular dialer has a small window on it that resembles the contact list. You can filter this window to show contacts & calls received/dialed, calls dialed, or speed dial numbers. In this pic, I am using the calls dialed filter. I have found this dialer to be VERY useful as I can just click the phone button and use the scroll wheel to dial numbers that I have either called or received a call from recently. It's definitely convenient when driving. If this is something that isn't in the mainstream, let me know and I will gladly post how I did it.

lol I know it's the default dialer, however it has the scroll box with contacts and dialed calls now. Mine did not have that before (so it's new to me).

Yeah I can see that. I guess that's a little more convenient than pushing a button to see the same thing.

Ok Mr. sarcastic, in this window it doesn't show the same number multiple times in a row. So say the same number has called you for whatever reason, instead of seeing the same number over and over and over, it just shows you once. It is much faster and much more convenient than having to go into the call history everytime. Perhaps you don't see how this is useful, but it has been very useful for me.

Mysterioustko... could you post how you did this. Read through the posts and could not find the reg key. Does this disable the redial function (as most addon dialers seem too). Is it compatible with the HTC dialer skin.

I am using the Vista black dialer, but may go back to the HTC dialer if this feature works as I am missing the redial (or call last number shown) in WM6 with any of the older WM5 dialer skins. (Not to mention the lack of smartdial)

I would love to know a fix for this issue also as I am running into this myself. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Curious, on mine.

If in the looking at the dialer, if i push left on the dpad, i get my speed dial list, if i push right, i get call history.

Seems to be default, i have it with my normal dialer and my ripped touch dialer.

Peace

WR
