I really dont understand why Sprint doesnt put it up against the Iphone in a commercial. There are so many ways to crush the Iphone it ridiculous.

Sprints marketing is just pathetic, they need to fire those idiots and bring in some agressive people with agressive Ideas, just think how many great ideas are right in this thread.
apples marketing is what sells all there products. if you ask me apple has the best marketing out.

This is what i do with my mogul. I surf the web on EDVO, chat to my friends all around the world using messenger, listen to my mp3, and check my email. ALL at the same time. Pretty neat.

1. I use "Card Export II" a lot lately so that my phone can be used as a USB flash drive without any special software (i.e. ActiveSync) or drivers on the host PC.

2. I also use the WiFi quite a bit, and you would be surprised how many public buildings and areas have wide open WiFi access points.

3. Using the phone as a free celular EVDO modem via the hacks posted on this site is awesome too.

4. Using PocketPutty to log into my servers.

If someone can figure out how to unlock the built in GPS so it can be used for free with any navigation software, that would be awesome!

By the way, I just heard an HTC commercial on the radio. It was for the Touch. HTC is promoting it on their own as an iPhone for PC users. I think this is a big mistake. The Mogul is much better for PC users due to the built in hardware keyboard and WiFi. The Touch has no WiFi according to the Sprint website.

I installed it on the phone directly, however it was not an EXE file. It was a CAB file. If you have an EXE, then perhaps It's a self-extracting zip file that you need to extract the CAB file from? Or maybe you downloaded the wrong version? Either that or maybe you downloaded a trojan with a file name designed to trick you into running it

Mogal can't: the 6700 had the focus lens adjustment for close-up and long pictures. What I can see with the 6800 it can't get focused till around 14 inches. I have to snap pictures of small things. That (besides the money spend to upgrade cables, storage and chargers) has disswaded me from upgrading.

While on the go if I get a call saying one of my websites is down I can ssh into the server and see what's going on and fix it. I have ssh tunnels set up to get me into my home network so after I've established the ssh connection I can VNC or RDP into any of my desktops, securely. Do that with your damn iPhone

I routinely tether to my laptop while on the road. The connection is fast enough and the latency is low enough that during down time I can even play some WOW.

oy vay!
thanks for the recommendations on orb, guys! that means i still don't have to buy a bigger mem card, lol. i can just access the crap from my pc. i have a TON of divx movies on there (and i actually need another HD, because the 250 is full, and i keep having to delete older movies in lieu of new ones i grab).

okay, dumb question here...how can i default the media player to landscape view?

Cool Log in to my PC

Go to https://secure.logmein.com/dmcq/051/homex.asp and set up a free account. Run the software on any PC at work or home. With WM6 you can go browse files on any PC anywhere and access content. If you forgot to take something with you..... send the file to the web and download on the phone. Also lets you restart ORB if and when it crashes.

BTW I have no connection with this company, but simply love having a working remote desktop solution that rocks with EVDO and WM6.
