Keyboard Problem

My Alt key characters print when I use Windows Live Search, Yahoo Go or On Demand. Even though the key is not pressed all the alt symbols type when I am trying to type in a word. I thought it was my phone that was doing that so I went ahead and warrantied that one and picked up a brand new Mogul and I am still having the same problem. Any one else experience this?

I don't have much installed but I do have

- Sms Threader
- Sprint MMS cab

and HTC 6 tab home plugin.
