Mogul Messaging Program Issue
 

Just got a Mogul a few days ago...the problem is my text messaging program opens up randomly for no reason, when I don't have any new text messages.

It's annoying because it'll awake from sleep mode even though there's nothing to check.

A hard reset didn't take care of this.

Any ideas?

got the same problem, just keep it open, that's usually what i do.

Good to know I'm not the only one with this problem...

but I'd like to get it fixed if possible. So hopefully someone on here knows what's up and can help us both out.

As of right now, I have cody's threaded SMS app, and the HTC X button...that's it.

But this problem was occurring BEFORE I put anything on my phone. And like I said, a hard reset didn't take care of it.

Sprint told me they'd send me a new Mogul, but I figured I'd post on here first to see if I could get it fixed, cuz getting a new one would be a hassle, to say the least.

Having to change PPC's is a real pain. Why don't you try calling tech support again and see if you could get an upper level tech this sounds like a network problem to me but I could be wrong.

K, I'll give 'em a call in a bit and then reply in here with an update.

I have the same problem also. For no apparent reason, the messaging program will just pop open. It does it whether I have programs on it or not.

Its a PITA to say the least. Hopefully a fix will be found to prevent this.

They said it's not a known problem, so they're just sending me a new one. Gay.
