OnLock - works as requested - It is all I use, and literaly the second thing I install (after TotalCommander).
Low memory footprint. Install, run OnlockPrefs from programs, check start on boot, activate. Now when you press the power button you are locked! except when a call comes in you can answer it. And when you tapit again you get a quick easy, yet pretty sure two tap lock system. |

Change your lock to 0 minutes under Setting->Lock and then use this registry edit.
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Comm\Security\LASSD\AE\{50C1337 7-C66D-400C-889E-C316FC4AB374} (change AEFrequencyType from 1 to 2) Everytime you turn on your phone you will be presented with the password screen but it will not pop up when you are using the device. Your power button will basically lock the device with these settings. |
I love the device lock (screen) from spb mobile shell (I just wish they'd automate it..) - I've got it assigned to the com key though so one keypress and it's locked with info on the screen (time, date, # of sms/emails/missed calls/weather/calendar)

I installed this on my phone because I was looking for the exact same thing in the locking fashion (this is default behavior on the 700p). It worked for the first two days, and now when I hit the power key it doesn't lock the phone; the program says it's running but it doesn't lock. Any ideas? Anyone else having this problem?
