Re: iphone web browser

I just upgraded to WM 6.1 and I am very happy with the new IE that is built-in. I can zoom in and out of web pages, and it's very fast loading (unlike picsel).

This opera version constantly crashes my phone, by using 100% memory, any way to cap it down?

After reading this and other threads it seems the opera 9.33 is fairly unstable, netfront doesnt handle java....

sounds like none of these solutions to pocket IE are very good yet, i dont want to spend hours tweaking an internet browser, i just want the dang thing to work smoothly 'out of the box'...

until I see that, I will stick with pocket IE

Hey Cytranic (or anyone else) do you have Skyfire? Is it really worth it to sign up?

I got Skyfire on Thursday and its pretty good. It does do everything your desktop can. Videos are choppy (maybe signal strength related). It does have some glitches. I keep getting "cannot connect to the server" error. This is annoying because if you are going in and out of EV for texting it kicks you out of the program. Sometimes the zoom wont always work and you have to zoom out and back in. But for free can you complain? And if you sign up now you can have the program in a month or two.
